Every year the TLE club celebrate the nutrition month. The purpose of this is to know the importance of having a healthy life style. In this month there are many activities for every grade level like nutri jingle, cook fest, poster making and many more.

 Nutrition month is helpful to us because it encourage us to eat healthy food, exercise, and other healthy habits. In this year’s theme “ugaliing magtanim sapat na nutrition aanihin” this remind us that planting vegetables, fruits are good and if we harvest it will give us good nutrition. We all know that if nutrition month is celebrated every students know that there are many competitions so they will practice and join every single competitions, but there will always be a loser and a winner. Just like us we join the nutri jingle competitions and win the eliminations and we feel so happy because all of our hard work have been paid off but when we go to the finals we feel so nervous because there are so many contestant that are better than us so we lose. Even that we lose the competition we learned to work us a team.

Remember that nutrition is what we need to have a good and healthy life style, and all competitions is not by winning or losing its about how you play the game.

My letter to the President

Dear Mr. President

A good day to you.

I am a student of Ilocos Sur National High School. I am very thankful because you become our president.

I would like to commend to ”War on drugs” this is a great act. Because it makes many drug lords and pushers to surrender, many people feel the success of this act. But the negative effect of this act. “War on drugs” some innocent people have been killed and some human rights have been violated.

I would like to give my feedback about the act. It scared away drug lords and pushers but make it even better because we Filipinos are scared about violating the human rights.

I hope that Mr. president will read this letter

"Why do we celebrate Independence day"

June 12,1898 we celebrated the first independence day because that’s the time Philippines become free from other country who salve and attack us.

We celebrate independence day as a respect for our heroes who fights for our freedom and to remember the importance of our flag. Years ago the Spaniards attacked us killing every Filipinos and making them a slave. One day the Americans join our force helping us to defeat the Spaniards after Americans help us they see the beauty of the Philippines so they want to own it but our heroes don’t want that so they fight for our freedom.
